SENAYANPOST - General (Ret.) Muhammad Andika Perkasa, S.E., M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., was awarded the Indonesian Veterans Legion (LVRI) Medal of Honor. The award was presented directly by the Chairman of the LVRI Central Executive Board, Lieutenant General (Ret.) H.B.L. Mantiri.
The award ceremony took place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Kraton Majapahit Jakarta.
In his remarks, the former TNI Commander expressed his gratitude and readiness to assist his seniors at LVRI.
"Thank you very much for the trust and blessings. We, the juniors, are ready to continue to assist," he explained.
As is known, General Andika Perkasa contributed to the Welcoming Dinner for the VECONAC ASEAN delegates held by LVRI in November 2025.
"We are ready to assist and ensure that yesterday's welcoming dinner is brought to life in this time of conflict everywhere. It's a significant effort on our part if we create a positive impression," said Andika.
The Chairman of the LVRI Central Executive Board, Lieutenant General (Ret.) H.B.L. Mantiri, stated that the Welcoming Dinner held at the Kraton Majapahit Jakarta in January 2026 was a success and satisfied veterans from all ASEAN countries.
"It's an honor that our event is being emulated; we managed to organize it," he said.
LVRI, as President of VECONAC in 2025, successfully held a Welcoming Dinner for delegates from all ASEAN countries.
The Welcoming Dinner was held at the Kraton Majapahit Jakarta, with remarks from General Andika Perkasa as host.
It is known that during his service in the military, General Andika Perkasa was involved in military operations in East Timor and Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.
