SENAYANPOST - Prince Cevi was crowned as the King of Banjar Culture in Kalimantan by the Minister of Culture Fadli Zon at the Kraton Majapahit Jakarta.

The Coronation of Prince Cevi was held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

Welcomed by the Founder of the Kraton Majapahit Jakarta, AM Hendropriyono and the Punggawa and Sekar Kedaton to the Balairung or Pendopo, the Minister of Culture opened the event.

At the event, Prince Cevi wore traditional clothes accompanied by the Punggawa and Putri Sekar Kedaton complete with attendants through the Main Gate accompanied by the Kebo Giro gamelan.

Prince Cevi and his entourage then headed to the Gajah Mada Hall guided by Cucuk Lampah and accompanied by the Banjar Ayak-ayakan 5 gamelan.

The coronation ceremony was attended by representatives from the Royal Organizations in the Archipelago, namely Ibu Dewi Muclisa, the Nusantara Palace Silaturahmi Forum.

Also present were Sultan Sepuh Aloenda II, the Nusantara King Sultan Caucus / KPH. Eddy Wirabhumi from the Nusantara Kingdom Customary Council and Teuku Raja Keumangan from the Indonesian King Sultan Customary Council.

King Denpasar Turah Agung Bima from the Nusantara Customary Community, Gusti Farid Hasan Aman from the Banjar Sultanate Customary Institution and Abdurrahman Mohammad Fachir from the Banjar Bubuhan Harmony.

Also present at the moment At that moment, the 6th Vice President Try Soetrisno, Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, Member of the House of Representatives Bambang Soesatyo, Deputy Minister of Environment Diaz Hendropriyono, Founder of CT Corp Chairul Tanjung, General Chair of the Hanura Party Oesman Sapta Odang, former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, and President Director of Agung Sedayu Group Nono Soempono were also present.

Several representatives of friendly countries who were present included the United States, Russia, Palestine, Pakistan, East Timor, India, South Korea and Singapore.

Prince Cevi vowed to help the Indonesian Government preserve the culture of Kalimantan, be loyal to Pancasila, and respect and obey the Minister of Culture.

Meanwhile, AM Hendropriyono also gave a message about wanting to straighten out the descendants of the Nusantara Kings who once ruled, one of whom was Prince Cevi.

"I really want to straighten out the kings in the archipelago who once reigned, we straighten out their descendants. Don't make up descendants, fake ones who only send proposals here and there, that can't be done. So we have to find those who are truly descendants of kings in the regions but also those who have the ability," he said.

Minister of Culture Fadli Zon also congratulated Prince Cevi after he was officially crowned as the King of Banjar Culture in Kalimantan.
