SENAYANPOST - Retired Indonesian Military General Prof. Dr. Abdullah Mahmud Hendropriyono visited the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
The founder of the Philosophy of Intelligence had accepted an invitation from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
He was accompanied by several other retired generals, including Retired Indonesian Military (TNI) General Agum Gumelar, Zacky Anwar Makarim, Fauka Noor Farid, Edhy Prabowo, Wiranto, and others who had fought in East Timor.
Prabowo Subianto gathered several former East Timorese fighters at the Presidential Palace.
After meeting with President Prabowo Subianto, former State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Head A.M Hendropriyono told waiting reporters that foreign interference was behind the chaos at the August 28, 2025, demonstration in front of the Parliament Complex in the Senayan area of Jakarta.
"Because I know, I'm not smarter than you. I'm not smarter, but I've experienced it all. And in this case there are those who are behind it. When the time comes I will be able to share the names of those who are at work. It came from abroad," he explained.
Hendropriyono said that foreign parties are orchestrating events from abroad. These external parties have accomplices within the country.
"(The parties) are from abroad. Those from abroad get their accomplices within the country to act. And I'm very sure that these accomplices within the country don't understand that they're being used. But this will have to be exposed when the time comes," he emphasized. (Muqoddas)
